Nisei is a Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant located in the Russian Hill neighborhood. Renowned for its innovative tasting menus, Chef David Yoshimura expertly fuses Japanese techniques with Northern California ingredients to create bold, modern dishes. The restaurant offers a unique culinary experience that showcases the deep connection between Japanese cuisine and Californian produce.
This seven-course dinner will offer an in-depth exploration of the unique terroir of the California coastline through a comparative tasting of current release and vintage wines paired to each course. Each dish will feature Californian produce, highlighting the local essence that unites both Littorai and Nisei.
